How it works

A daily checklist anchored to your local sunrise and sunset — with optional voice guidance, progress insights, and no account login in v1.

1. Accept & orient

On first launch, read the medical disclaimer and accept the terms. Optionally enable location for accurate sunrise/sunset timing and reminders. Complete a baseline survey — five subjective eye-comfort ratings that seed your Visual Resilience Index.

2. Now vs Today

The dashboard splits modules into Now — what to do this moment based on time of day — and Today — everything due before midnight. Sunset-aware logic shifts evening modules automatically as seasons change.

3. Guided or silent

On the free plan, sessions use silent timers for all eight modules — same protocol, no audio coaching. Premium adds voice guidance and optional ambient music.

4. Track & improve

Check off modules as you complete them. Build streaks. Weekly surveys update your Visual Resilience Index. The Insights screen charts compliance and biomarker trends over 30, 60, or 90 days.

5. AI assistant

Ask protocol questions, troubleshoot missed steps, or get gear recommendations. The assistant is grounded in the RetinaReset knowledge base — supportive peer tone, never medical prescriptions.

6. Subscribe & restore

Choose monthly, yearly, or lifetime in Settings. Stripe handles checkout. Restore Full access on a new device via Settings → Restore access with your purchase email — no password required in v1.
